Shane Byrne has produced some of the biggest and most globally recognised television formats in the world.
These shows include The Circle (Netflix), Britain’s Got Talent (ITV), The X Factor (ITV), Big Brother & Celebrity Big Brother (Channel 5), Strictly Come Dancing/Dancing With The Stars (BBC), Queen of The Universe (Paramount Plus), Got To Dance (Sky), Dating In The Dark (ITV), Blind Date (Channel 5), The Big Reunion (ITV), Channel 4’s Comedy Gala, The Brit Awards (ITV) amongst many more.
Working alongside Fox Alternative Entertainment, Byrne has been the Showrunner & Executive Producer on four consecutive seasons of Name That Tune. He also served as an Executive Producer on the premiere season of The Floor, and multiple seasons of Beat Shazam & Don’t Forget The Lyrics, all for Fox.
Byrne began his TV career at state broadcaster RTÉ in Dublin before relocating to London where he worked with all of the UK’s leading networks including ITV Studios, BBC Entertainment, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky, with production companies Fremantle, Banijay, Studio Lambert, So Television, Potato TV, Open Mike, Two Four, South Shore, & World of Wonder.
Prior to co-founding Diffusion Media, Byrne held the position of Head of Entertainment at Bigger Stage for over 3 years. In this role, Byrne managed the unscripted slate of productions, while cultivating day to day working relationships with co producers Fox, FAE, Eureka Productions, Apploff Entertainment & Studio Ramsay Global amongst others.

Jamie D’Alton is one of Ireland’s most prolific documentary and factual television producers. For the past 15 years he has owned and operated Motive Television, producing smart, hard-hitting and socially aware films that have resonated with both critics and audiences.
Emmy® Award Winning The Deepest Breath is his latest feature documentary. Produced in partnership with A24, Ventureland and RAW, it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival (2023) and was released globally on Netflix. The film won two Critics Choice Awards and an Emmy for Outstanding Sports Documentary.
He also developed and produced the feature documentary
Notorious (2018) on UFC star Conor McGregor for Universal. Distributed around the world, Notorious is the highest grossing Irish documentary of all time.Award-winning documentary credits include Prison Families, Travellers Guide, Between Land & Sea and The Irish of 9/11. In 2016 he produced Born To Run – The Secret of Kenyan Athletics which won multiple awards including the IFTA for Best Sport Documentary. In 2017 he produced I Am Immigrant a documentary about race, identity and the far right in Ireland which won best documentary at the IFTA’s.
